Prognostic impact of GPR56 in patients with colorectal cancer

چکیده
G protein-coupled receptor 56 (GPR56) belongs to the adhesion subfamily, which plays a role in cell progression and survival. The aim of this study was investigate GPR56 gene line impact its protein expression on prognosis colorectal cancer (CRC) patients. effect tumor proliferation (WST-1 assay), invasion (Transwell migration assay, wound healing colony-forming ability (semisolid agar assay) explored. levels tissue samples 109 CRC patients were evaluated by immunohistochemistry. prognostic value GRP56 analyzed using univariate multivariate analyses. downregulation reduced as compared with that control sample (48 h; p = 0.042, 72 0.001). Downregulation abilities inhibited (p < 0.005). 5-year overall survival rate worse high-expression group low-expression (51.6% vs. 74.4%, 0.008). High significant factor for 0.001) level an important CRC, it may serve indicator

Overexpression of cancer stem cell marker Lgr5 in colorectal cancer patients and association with pathologic findings
Background: To determine the expression of cancer stem cell marker Leucine-rich repeat-containing G-protein coupled receptor 5 (Lgr5) in colorectal carcinoma samples compared to normal adjacent tissue and any possible association with clinicopathological findings. Methods: This study was performed on forty samples of cancerous colorectal tissues (case group) and their adjacent normal mucosa (c...

PURPOSE This study analyzed potentially functional polymorphisms in CASPASE (CASP) genes and their impact on the prognosis for Korean colorectal cancer patients. MATERIALS AND METHODS A total of 397 consecutive patients with curatively resected colorectal adenocarcinoma were enrolled in this study. Genomic DNA from these patients was extracted from fresh colorectal tissue, and the 10 polymorp...
متن کاملPrognostic Significance of CD26 in Patients with Colorectal Cancer
BACKGROUND CD26, dipeptidyl peptidase IV, was discovered firstly as a membrane-associated peptidase on the surface of leukocyte. We previously demonstrated that a subpopulation of CD26+ cells were associated with the development of distant metastasis, enhanced invasiveness and chemoresistance in colorectal cancer (CRC). In order to understand the clinical impact of CD26, the expression was inve...
متن کاملPrognostic value of SPARCL1 in patients with colorectal cancer
Secreted protein acidic and rich in cysteine-like 1 (SPARCL1), a member of extracelluar matrix glycoprotein, has been reported to be associated with various tumor types. The present study aimed to evaluate the prognostic value of SPARCL1 in patients with colorectal cancer. Tissue microarray blocks were constructed based on 79 patients who underwent radical surgery at the Kunshan First People's ...
